NORTHERN STAR is a growing and dynamic company providing medium size organisations with value for money and reliable technology solutions as well as best practice IT infrastructure advice. Formed in 1998 as a collaboration of freelance consultants with the aim of bringing professionalism and proven technology to a poorly served market, the organisation has since grown rapidly into a well-established and respected consultancy, progressing to limited company status in 2000. The company now employs 11 staff most of whom have professional qualifications in various technologies including Microsoft MCSE. While we are a small organisation and our core business centres on the provision of high quality expertise in network implementation and support, we have specialists in e-commerce and web development, database design, WAN installation and network cabling, telephone systems and training. We are accustomed to working very closely with our clients such that we are part of their management team for the period of a project implementation. In our experience, this approach brings significant benefits to our customers enabling them quickly and efficiently to introduce new technology while continuing to manage their business from day to day.
